My family had a double whammy of celebrations with Christmas Eve birthdays and my cousin's wedding, but we made up for it by not doing an awful lot on New Year's Eve. Just a quiet evening in front of the usual Countdown and big-screen fireworks...oh, and sewing! Lots and lots of sewing! > - <
Finished these just in time! I felt like I was calling the newlyweds a pair of piggies with this pressie, but the groom really asked for it.
The festive period has been a pretty busy time for Su-Lin Designs, and my 'free delivery' offer for Singapore-based customers proved quite a hit! I was making custom orders for Christmas pressies, wedding pressies, self-pressies (because you're worth it! *hair flick*), pressies for celebrations later in the year (v.g. foresight!) for customers who all wished to take advantage of this service. Well, I'm back to this blog now, and will be telling you all about these custom projects over the next few weeks...with lots of pictures... *HOORAY!*
Overall, I've had a pretty great year! There's been a really enthusiastic response to my stalls at craft fairs, Christmas markets and jams, with loads of peeps stepping in to help out with their time, ideas and accessories to help improve the presentation. Here're some photos of us out and about, and I wanna say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who's supported me in 2009, that's all of you in the pictures here, and especially my family. If you've adopted one of my designs, told your friends about me, read my blog, shared your ideas, time and things with me, then thank you for your support in 2009!
